imedia.ca Toronto, Toni combines a life passion for design and professional experience in internet marketing, working with organizations in the planning, design and execution of communication strategies to actively engage customers.
At Novator eCommerce in the role of Creative Director, Toni collaborated with decision-makers, marketing executives, and online development teams, applying e-merchandising and user experience research to improve conversion rates for online retailing pioneers.
As Art Director at Bratch Innovation Inc., Toronto, she focused on online marketing, using psychographics to develop targeted messages and prototypes for web applications including product launches, banking sites and a public utility.
She has published Perception – a practical business design sourcebook featuring process and principles for effective web design and improving usability.
With early career experience in film, multimedia production, magazine publishing and television advertising, Toni learnt to apply project management skills and a process-oriented approach to achieve a high level of quality assurance while mentoring and inspiring others to do their best work.
Before attending OCAD and University of Guelph, Toni spent her childhood
in a tropical rain forest clearing of five houses, known only by an acronym, STOL. The area has since returned to the wild. The isolation was fuel for a unique perspective. Her mother's geological drafting tools offered expression and the fundamentals of design.
