imedia solutions inc. was incorporated 1996

Over the first decade, imedia.ca developed a reputation as a pioneer in the use of new, emerging digital technologies making information access and usability a priority.
Along with raising awareness on the power of digital media to transform business communication, we set out to explore innovative solutions for distributing information and interacting with customers.
Through effective business analysis, strategic planning, applied design principles and cross-media production practices, our goal is to empower your organization with successful initiatives that result in actively engaged customers.

The Digital Agency was founded in 1996 by Raymond Gubala, current Faculty Schools of Media, Art & Design, Durham College, Peter N. Robertson, Experiential Learning, TDSB., Toni Robertson, Creative Director imedia.ca.

Protagenic Therapeutics Inc. is a biotechnology company focusing on the discovery and development of novel, naturally occurring human brain hormones for the treatment of anxiety and depression based mood disorders.

HALL TRAIN STUDIOS is a leader in the design and creation of complete exhibit environments, including animatronics, life-like figures, skeleton mounts, dioramas, murals, rockwork, animation, live-action film/video and environmental soundtracks. Under the direction of curators, paleontologists and exhibit directors, HALL TRAIN STUDIOS creates a broad range of solutions and options for the challenges faced by science centers and natural history museums.

OnTracks Radio

OnTracks Beats & Facts: an interactive magazine format to expose, promote and celebrate new artists by presenting a bold, new canvas for the exploration of emerging urban and alternative music. It championed an online environment for sponsors and partners to gather research on new products — with a focus on enhancing future marketing opportunities.

TD Waterhouse Information Technology Group: To develop an intranet that's easy to use and make information readily available, imedia.ca included the involvement of all 17 business units in the prototype design to ensure that the key objectives of a consistent, professional look and improved access to information were met. A styleguide defining the visual principals and site architecture addressed future site goals such as the evolution from document store to publishing and collaboration centre.

Clinical Practice Guidelines for the management of Diabetes in Canada: An interactive CD-ROM brought ground-breaking diabetes research into the offices of practicing physicians. It presented guidelines for diagnosing and treating the disease, along with interactive case studies allowing doctors to test their new knowledge using realistic patient scenarios.

This staff-wide, self-study interactive tutorial to introduces a new operating system for the Co-operators Insurance and Financial Services, featuring an animated character to aid with basic principles, step-by-step walk-throughs of procedures was designed and produced by imedia.ca

The Ontario Hydro Electrical Grounding and Bonding Interactive learning CDRom produced for Regan Productions Inc. as a prototype, is a flexible, just-in-time learning method that allows individual trainees to review essential concepts and procedures at their own pace.

The Sprint Challenge: Trade Show & Mall Kiosks. When Sprint Canada entered the long distance market, they needed a tool that would build up their customer base. Data was encrypted and collated in a central database for pattern analysis. Developed in 1995 for Regan Productions Inc. by Raymond Gubala, the custom application was deployed in both French and English in malls across the country. Offering 50% savings, the associate lead session collected the world-wide calling patterns of each person and compared it with the cost of the local phone company long distance rates. One of every two persons who tried it became a Sprint customer.

UDMA: Universal Database of Media Assets.
Raymond Gubala, imedia.ca's Vice-President of Technology Services [1996-2000], led the challenge of synchronizing the production of print, digital and online versions of 7000 SKU numbers in the management of Office Supply Catalogs for Grand & Toy with seven regional distribution centres, 19 sales offices, 70 Canadian retail locations and 30 U.S. distribution centres including Weekly flyers, store specials, telephone & fax orders, personal account managers, setting the groundwork for online ordering.

enrique Enrique Iglesias: Bailamos.
imedia.ca produced a promotion site that debuted in both English and Spanish for North and Latin American audiences, functioning as a media press kit to coincide with the premiere of the movie Wild Wild West, starring Will Smith and Enrique's CD, Bailamos, the title track featured in the movie soundtrack.
