The Sprint Challenge: Exhibition & Trade Show Kiosks.
When Sprint Canada entered the long distance market, they needed a tool that would build up their customer base. Data was encrypted and collated in a central database for pattern analysis. Developed in 1995 for Regan Productions Inc. by Raymond Gubala, the custom application was deployed in both French and English in malls across the country. Offering 50% savings, the associate lead session collected the world-wide calling patterns of each person and compared it with the cost of the local phone company long distance rates. One of every two persons who tried it became a Sprint customer.
